Websites That Work on PS3 Browser (2024 Reality Check): Almost None

The PS3’s NetFront browser is ancient (WebKit from ~2010). It fails on most modern sites (JavaScript-heavy, HTTPS/TLS 1.2+, HTML5 video).

What might load:

• Simple static sites (Wikipedia text mode, government pages, basic forums).
• YouTube – loads but extremely slow, no 1080p, frequent crashes.

Better Alternatives on PS3:

• Apps (mostly delisted): Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll apps were removed years ago.
• Media server: Stream from PC via Plex/Universal Media Server (DLNA).

Real Solution:

Buy a $30 Roku / Fire Stick / Chromecast or use a phone/PC → HDMI. The PS3 browser is effectively dead for the modern web.
