Warranty on Used PS3 Consoles from eBay: Usually None

Used PS3s on eBay generally do not include a manufacturer's warranty.

Why?

• Warranties are tied to the original purchaser.
• eBay sellers (individuals/third-party) cannot transfer Sony's warranty.
• Some sellers offer their own limited warranty/return policy—rare.

Buying Safely

• Check seller feedback (high ratings, positive reviews).
• Read description for warranty/return mentions.
• Ask seller about condition, repairs, known issues.
• Consider reputable refurbished sellers with their own warranties (e.g., DKOldies, eStarland).

Research thoroughly; good deals exist but require diligence.
