Can You Add Guitar Hero III Songs to PS2 Guitar Hero Games?

Cross-Game Song Compatibility on PS2

No. Guitar Hero III songs cannot be added to earlier PS2 Guitar Hero games (GH1, GH2, GH: Aerosmith).

Why

• Platform-specific file formats and hardware.
• Games not designed for cross-version song compatibility.

Options

• Play GH3 on PS2 for its native soundtrack.
• Custom song packs (advanced) – Fan-made packs exist but require third-party tools, may violate ToS/copyright, and often malfunction.
