PS3 Launch Prices (2006): 20GB and 60GB Models

PlayStation 3 launched in North America November 17, 2006:

• 20 GB Model (CECHB01): $499.99 – No Wi-Fi, no card readers, no HDMI (early units).
• 60 GB Model (CECHA01): $599.99 – Wi-Fi, 4x USB, Memory Stick/SD/CF slots, Hardware PS2 BC, HDMI.

Both lost money per unit; 60GB became the standard. Price drops followed in 2007.
