Can You Get The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on PS3? (No – Never Released)

No. Oblivion was never released on PlayStation 3. Platforms:

• PC (Windows) — Steam, GOG, retail (2006).
• Xbox 360 — Disc & Games on Demand (delisted but owned licenses work).
• PlayStation 3: Never released. Bethesda cited PS3's split memory architecture (256 MB XDR + 256 MB GDDR3) and Cell CPU complexity as barriers.

How to Play Oblivion Today

• Xbox One / Series X|S: Xbox 360 version runs via backward compatibility (4K, 60 FPS boost, auto HDR).
• PC (Steam/GOG): Best version—mods (Oblivion Reloaded, OBSE), unlimited fixes, DLC included (GOTY).
• Xbox 360: Physical disc or digital if previously purchased.

No PS3 version exists, and none will—Bethesda moved to Skyrim (2011) which did launch on PS3 (infamously buggy at launch).
