Joining the Blades in The Elder Scrolls: They're in Skyrim, Not Oblivion

The Blades are a joinable faction in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, not in Oblivion.

In Oblivion, the Blades (Jauffre, Baurus, etc.) are key NPCs in the main quest, but you cannot join them as a faction—no rank progression, uniform, or Blades-specific questline.

Similar Guilds in Oblivion

• Dark Brotherhood: Assassins. Join by killing an innocent, then sleeping.
• Thieves Guild: Fence stolen goods, do burglary quests.
• Fighters Guild / Mages Guild: Standard radiant questlines.

If you want the Blades experience, play Skyrim (recruit followers, wear Blades armor, hunt dragons).
