ITV Player (ITVX) on PS3? No – App Discontinued

ITV Player (now ITVX) is not available on PS3. App removed ~2018. PS3 app ecosystem largely dead (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime also gone).

Watch ITV on PS3 Anyway

• PS3 Web Browser: Go to itv.com/watch or itvx.com. Slow, clunky, may not play DRM video. Flash/HTML5 support ancient.
• PS3 Media Server / Plex (PC → PS3): Stream downloaded/recorded ITV content from PC to PS3 via DLNA.
• HDMI from Laptop/Phone: Direct connection.

Better Devices for ITVX (2024+)

• Smart TV (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku).
• PS4 / PS5 (ITVX app available).
• Xbox One / Series X|S.
• Chromecast / Apple TV / Fire Stick (£30–50).

Retire the PS3 for streaming. It's 2006 hardware.
