PS3 HDMI Cable Cost: It's a Standard Cable, Not Proprietary

There is no "PS3 HDMI Cable". PS3 uses Standard HDMI Type A (Male) to Type A (Male) cable. Any certified HDMI cable works.

• Premium 6ft (4K60 / 18Gbps / HDR): $8 – $15.
• Ultra High Speed (48Gbps / 4K120 / 8K / VRR / eARC): $12 – $25 (Overkill for PS3).
• Used / Thrift / Dollar Store: $1 – $3 (Test before trust).

PS3 Video Output Notes

• PS3 Max: 1080p / 60Hz (Games) / 1080p/24Hz (Blu-ray). HDMI 1.3.
• Also supports: Component (YPbPr 1080i/720p), Composite (480i), SCART (RGB), DVI (via HDMI-DVI adapter).
• HDMI Handshake Issues: Common on older TVs/Receivers. Fix: Power Cycle Both → PS3 Video Reset (Hold Power 2nd Beep) → Try Port 2/3 → Disable Deep Color (Settings → Display → Video Output → Deep Color: Off).

Buy any High Speed HDMI Certified cable. Don't overpay for "PS3" branding.
