The Sims 3 on Wii? Never Released.

No. The Sims 3 was never released for the Nintendo Wii.

Platforms That Got The Sims 3

• PC / Mac (2009)
• iOS (2010, simplified)
• Nintendo DS (2010, distinct version)
• Mobile (Java/Brew, feature phones)
• Console: PS3, Xbox 360 (2010, simplified "Console Edition")

Why Not Wii?

• Wii's CPU/GPU (Broadway/Hollywood) couldn't handle the seamless open neighborhood engine without massive downgrades.
• EA prioritized PS3/360 for the "Console Edition" (shared codebase).
• Wii got The Sims 2: Castaway, Sims 2: Pets, and MySims series instead.

If you want The Sims on Nintendo hardware: The Sims 4 is on Switch (cloud version), MySims on Wii/DS, or The Sims 2/3 on DS.
