Was Guitar Hero Released on PlayStation 1?

No

The Guitar Hero series debuted in November 2005 on PlayStation 2 (also Xbox, GameCube). The PS1 had been discontinued since 2006; its hardware lacked the processing power and controller interface for the note-highway engine and proprietary guitar controller.

Rhythm Games on PS1

• PaRappa the Rapper (1996)
• Um Jammer Lammy (1999)
• Vib-Ribbon (1999, Japan/EU)
• Dance Dance Revolution (PS1 ports, 1999+)
