Typical Maintenance Windows

• Scheduled: Usually Tuesday 10 PM – 6 AM PT (Wed 1–9 AM UTC) weekly or bi-weekly. Announced 24–48h prior on status page.
• Emergency: Security patches, capacity fixes—no advance notice.
• Major Updates: System software releases (e.g., 10.00, 11.00) often include 1–4h downtime.

What to Do During Maintenance

• Single-player games: Work fine (unless they require constant server auth—rare on PS4/5).
• Digital licenses: Cached locally; primary console plays offline.
• Don't: Rebuild database, initialize, or change account settings until services restore.
