Cars 2: The Video Game – No Cheats, But Master Chrome Missions Legitimately

No cheat codes exist for Cars 2: The Video Game (any platform). Avalanche Software didn't include any.

Chrome Mission Mastery (Legitimate)

Chrome Missions are the hardest challenges — time trials with strict gold thresholds. Strategies:

• Character Choice: **Mater** (heavy, stable) or **Finn McMissile** (gadgets) for combat missions. **Lightning McQueen** (speed) for pure races.
• Drift Mastery: Hold drift (B/X) → release for boost. Chain drifts on straights (snaking).
• Shortcut Knowledge: Each track has 2-3 hidden shortcuts. Practice in Free Run → learn them.
• Gadget Timing: Save missiles/shields for straightaways / choke points. Don't waste in corners.
• Upgrade Priorities: Speed > Acceleration > Handling > Boost. Max Speed first.

General Progression Tips

1. Complete all **Story Missions** first — unlocks characters/tracks.
2. Grind **Spy Points** in "Oil Rig" survival — best SP/minute.
3. **Local Multiplayer** (2-4P) — easiest way to unlock mutual achievements.
4. **Golden Wheels** (100% completion) — requires all gold medals. Use Restart (Select/Back) instantly on mistake.
