The Sims 2 Clothing Cheats: No Item Codes—Use Buydebug & Custom Content

There are no cheat codes to unlock specific clothing items in The Sims 2. The game doesn't have an "unlock item" code system.

How to Access More Clothing

1. Buydebug Cheat (Hidden Catalog Items)

1. Open cheat console: Ctrl + Shift + C (PC) / Cmd + Shift + C (Mac)
2. Type: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true → Enter
3. Type: boolProp buyDebugMode true → Enter (or buydebug on in later patches)
4. Enter Build/Buy Mode → Sort by "All" → Scroll to bottom → Hidden clothing/accessories appear (NPC uniforms, career outfits, debug items).

2. Motherlode / Kaching (Money for Catalog)

• motherlode = §50,000
• kaching / rosebud = §1,000
• Buy any clothing from regular catalog.

3. Custom Content (CC) — Best Option

• Sites: The Sims Resource, Mod The Sims, SimFileShare, Tumblr #ts2cc, Pinterest.
• Formats: .package files → place in Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads.
• Tools: Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer for .sims2pack files; Delphy's Dashboard for conflict detection.

4. Expansion / Stuff Packs
