Recruiting Gang Members in Saints Row 2 (No Instant Cheat)

There is no cheat code to instantly recruit anyone in Saints Row 2. Recruitment follows the game's progression system.

How Recruitment Works

• Complete Missions: Story and stronghold missions unlock new homies.
• Earn Respect: Activities (tagging, theft, stunts, fights) fill Respect bar—required to start missions.
• Capture Strongholds: Taking over district strongholds expands recruitment pool.
• Phone Contacts: Unlocked homies appear in phone for instant summoning.

Fast-Track Recruitment

1. Focus on Stronghold missions—each adds 3–4 homies.
2. Do Activities (Insurance Fraud, Mayhem, Escort) for quick Respect.
3. Complete Story missions—major characters join after key missions.
4. Use Newspaper Clippings (collectibles) to unlock bonus homies.

Cheats That Help Indirectly

These cheats (entered via phone) don't recruit but ease progression:

• #1 – Infinite Sprint
• #2 – No Wanted Level
• #3 – Max Respect (speeds mission access)
• #4 – Unlock All Weapons

Play the game—recruiting your crew is half the fun!
