How to Make a Vampire in The Sims 2: Double Deluxe

There is no cheat code (like boolprop testingcheatsenabled true + shift-click) to instantly turn a Sim into a Vampire in The Sims 2. Vampirism is a gameplay state acquired through specific interactions.

Legitimate Methods

1. Grand Vampire Interaction (Base Game + Nightlife):
   • Visit a Downtown lot at night (7 PM–6 AM).
   • Find the Grand Vampire (pale, red eyes, cape—usually Count Vamprocilius or a generated one).
   • Build high relationship (50+), then use the social interaction "Ask to Turn" (requires Nightlife).
   • The Grand Vampire bites your Sim; they transform after a few hours.
2. "Become a Vampire" Lot Challenge (Bon Voyage/Store Content): Some custom lots or the "Gothic" lot challenge script the transformation sequence.
3. SimPE / Sim Blender (Advanced Tools): External editors (SimPE is free/open-source) can manually add the Vampire trait token to a Sim's data. High risk of corruption if done incorrectly.
4. Custom Content (ModTheSims / TSR): Download "Vampire Bite" objects or "Instant Vampire" hacks that add the interaction to the pie menu.

Vampire Perks: No aging, max motives at night, "Fly" interaction, but severe daylight motive drain and no sunlight tolerance.
