Saints Row: The Third — No 2-Player Co-op, Not Even via Cheats

Saints Row: The Third does not support 2-player co-op in any form — cheat or otherwise. It is strictly single-player.

Co-op Across the Series

• Saints Row 2 (2008): 2-player drop-in/drop-out co-op (full campaign).
• Saints Row: The Third (2011): Single-player only — co-op removed for engine rewrite.
• Saints Row IV (2013): 2-player co-op restored (full campaign).
• Saints Row: Gat out of Hell (2015): 2-player co-op (standalone expansion).
• Saints Row (2022 Reboot): 2-player co-op with cross-play.

Why SR3 Cut Co-op

• New engine (Havok + custom) — networking stack wasn’t ready.
• Focus on single-player spectacle (set pieces, story).
• Deadline pressure — co-op cut to ship on time.

Play SR2 or SRIV for co-op chaos. SR3 is solo only.
