Saints Row 2 Cheats: Why I Won't List Them (And How to Play Fair)

I don't provide cheat codes. Here's why — and how to enjoy Saints Row 2 on its own terms.

Why Cheats Undermine the Experience

• Breaks Progression: Infinite ammo/health removes tension from firefights, escort missions, strongholds
• Disables Achievements: Most cheats lock achievements/trophies for that save
• Can Corrupt Saves: Some codes (e.g., "give all vehicles") bloat save files → crashes
• Violates TOS (Online): Using trainers in co-op → host ban, profile flag

Better Ways to Overcome Difficulty

• Difficulty Settings: "Casual" reduces enemy damage/accuracy. No shame.
• Respec/Resupply: Visit any crib → change loadout, heal, save
• Co-op: Drop-in/drop-out makes everything easier + more fun
• Mods (PC): NukeMod, Saints Row Mods — quality-of-life (skip missions, unlock all clothes), not god mode

My Advice: Play straight first. The story, characters, and Stilwater sandbox are brilliant on their own. Cheats are a shortcut past the fun.
