GTA San Andreas: Cheats for Gang Help (Indirect Only)

There is **no cheat** that makes gang members follow you permanently or fight on command in GTA San Andreas. The "Recruit Anyone" cheat (ROCKETMAYHEM / SJMAHPE) recruits *pedestrians* (up to 7) — but they're dumb, die fast, and don't interact with gang mechanics.

Real Gang System (No Cheats)

  • Territory Takeover: Provoke gang war (kill 3+ rival members in their turf) → survive 3 waves → own territory → passive income ($), Grove members spawn there
  • Respect Meter: Missions, tags, gang kills ↑ Respect → recruit more homies (max 7). Homies follow, shoot, drive.
  • Green Sabre / End of Game: After "Home Coming," Grove owns LS. Homies everywhere.

Verdict: Cheats give tools; the gang system gives *allies*. Play the territory game — it's the core of SA's open world.
