Deactivating Cheats in GTA Vice City (PC)

No in-game cheat deactivation exists. Effects persist until:

Methods to Clear Cheats

1. Restart Game: Reload any save—cheats don't persist across loads.
2. Load Clean Save: Use save from before cheat entry.
3. Counter-Cheats: Some reversible (e.g., "SUICIDE" removes weapons).
4. New Game: Start fresh without entering codes.

Persistent Cheats (Require Restart)

• Pedestrian riots, weapon/vehicle spawns, weather changes.
• Stats-affecting cheats may permanently mark save.

Best Practice

• Use separate save slots for cheat testing.
• Backup saves before experimenting.
• Achievements disabled on cheated saves (Steam/console).

Cheats are session-based; a clean load fully resets game state.
