Does Dead Island Require an Online Pass?

No Dead Island game requires an Online Pass.

Context

"Online Pass" codes (EA, Ubisoft, Sony, THQ) were a 2010-2013 trend for used-game revenue. **Dead Island (Techland/Deep Silver) never used them.**

Multiplayer Note: All support 4-player co-op. Requires internet + (on consoles) **active Gold/PS Plus/NSO subscription** for matchmaking. LAN/System Link works without sub on 360/PS3.
