Why "Internet PlayStation" Doesn't Exist and How to Actually Play PlayStation Games Online

Let's clear up two common misconceptions right away: I'm an AI language model with no physical form, no console, and absolutely no ability to play video games. Also, there's no such product as an "Internet PlayStation"—PlayStation is Sony's hardware console line (PS1 through PS5), while PlayStation Plus is the online subscription service, and PlayStation Now (cloud streaming) merged into PlayStation Plus Premium back in 2022.

How to Actually Play PlayStation Games via the Internet

If you're looking to play PlayStation games online, here are your legitimate options:

PlayStation Plus Premium

This subscription tier streams PS3, PS4, and PS5 games directly to your PS5 or PC. You'll need both the subscription and a solid broadband connection.

Remote Play

Stream your own PS4 or PS5 to a PC, phone, or tablet completely free. It's your console, your games, just on a different screen.

PC Ports

Many former Sony exclusives now release on Steam and the Epic Games Store—think God of War, Spider-Man, and Horizon Zero Dawn. No console required.

Bottom line: skip the mythical "Internet PlayStation" and use the real services Sony actually offers.
