Getting Online with a New PS3: Manual Setup Required

The PS3 does not automatically connect to the internet out of the box. You must manually configure it:

1. Connect PS3 to router via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
2. Go to Settings → Network Settings.
3. Select Internet Connection Settings.
4. Follow on-screen instructions to complete setup.

Once connected, you can access PlayStation Store, PlayStation Network, and online multiplayer.
