Wait If…	Buy Now If…
Budget tight; PS4 backlog exists	You want current exclusives (Spider-Man 2, FFXVI, GoW Ragnarök, Astro Bot)
Waiting for PS5 Pro / Slim refresh	You have a 4K 120 Hz display and want to use it
Hoping for price drop (unlikely soon)	Game Pass / PS Plus Extra libraries appeal
Primary interest is cross-gen titles (still on PS4)	You value DualSense haptics, 3D audio, near-instant loads

If the ecosystem excites you and budget allows, the PS5 is a fantastic machine today. Waiting for "perfect" means missing years of great games.
