Can You Buy Enter the Matrix on PS3? No—Never Ported, BC Issues

No. Enter the Matrix (2003) released on PS2, Xbox, GameCube, PC. It was never ported to PS3.

Why It Doesn't Work Well Even on BC PS3s

• Only launch 20/60GB PS3s have hardware/software PS2 backward compatibility.
• Even on those, Enter the Matrix has known issues: graphical corruption, crashes, audio desync.
• Sony's compatibility list rates it "Playable with issues."

How to Play It Today

• Original hardware: PS2, Xbox, GameCube, PC (GOG/Steam — GOG version fixed for modern Windows).
• PS2 emulation (PC): PCSX2 — best experience (upscaling, widescreen patches, save states).
• PS3: Only if you have a launch 60GB model and accept glitches.

The PC version on GOG is $9.99 and runs flawlessly. That's your best bet.
