Battlefield 3 (PS3) – No Third-Person Mode Exists

Battlefield 3 on PS3 has no third-person mode. It is a strict first-person shooter.

• No setting, cheat, or unlock toggles perspective.
• Vehicle views are first-person (cockpit) or chase cam (external but fixed)—not a full third-person infantry view.
• Series tradition: BF1942 → BF4 = first-person only. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (console) had third-person, but not mainline.

If you want third-person tactical shooter, try Ghost Recon, The Division, Gears of War, or Fortnite.
