Where to Legally Get Prototype (PS3)

Free downloads of Prototype (PS3) are piracy — illegal, malware risk, PSN ban risk.

Legal Options

• Physical Used: eBay, Mercari, GameStop, local shops — $5–$15 (Greatest Hits / Platinum common).
• Digital (Delisted): Prototype & Prototype 2 were removed from PS Store ~2018 (Activision license expiry). Cannot buy new digitally.
• PS Now / PS Plus Premium: Not currently in streaming catalog (check monthly rotation).
• Backward Compatibility: Not on PS4/PS5. Xbox One/Series plays Prototype 1 & 2 via BC (enhanced 4K/60 on Series X) — best modern way if you have Xbox.
• PC (Steam/GOG/Epic): Both games available, often $5–$10 on sale. Superior performance, mods, KB+M.

Recommendation: Buy used PS3 disc cheap, or get Prototype Biohazard Bundle on PC/Xbox for definitive version.
