Cables Included with the PS3 Slim

The PS3 Slim (CECH-2000/2100/2500/3000 series) box contains:

• HDMI Cable (Type A → A): 1080p, 3D, bitstream audio. Primary connection.
• USB Cable (Mini-B → Type-A): Charges/syncs DualShock 3 / Sixaxis. Data transfer.
• AC Power Cord: C7 "Figure-8" (most regions) or C13 "Kettle lead" (UK/High-wattage models).

Not Included (Buy Separately If Needed)

• AV / Composite (Red/White/Yellow): Removed to cut cost/push HD. Essential for pre-HDTV.
• Optical Audio (TOSLINK): For surround receivers without HDMI.
• Component (YPbPr): 1080i/720p on HDTVs without HDMI. Uses Sony proprietary AV MULTI port.

Regional Notes

• Japan launch models sometimes included Composite.
• "Super Slim" (CECH-4000) same cable set.
