Battlefield 4 Player Base 2024: PS4 Dominates PS3 by 10x — Play on PS4/PS5/PC

PS4 dominates. PS3 version is playable but:

• Population: PS4 has 10x+ concurrent players; PS3 often < 500 peak.
• Performance: PS4 = 60 FPS, 64-player Conquest. PS3 = 30 FPS, 24-player cap, lower textures.
• Content: PS3 missed Final Stand, Dragon's Teeth, and later patches/weapons.
• Servers: Official DICE servers retired; community-run on both. PS3 browser is buggy.

Verdict: Play on PS4/PS5 (back compat) or PC. PS3 only for nostalgia if no alternative.
