Finding Missed Puzzles in Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call: No Permanently Missable Puzzles

There are no permanently "missable" puzzles in Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call (EU) / Last Specter (US). The game allows you to find everything in a single playthrough, but some are easy to overlook.

How to Find All Puzzles

1. Talk to Everyone: Every NPC, multiple times. Puzzles unlock as the story progresses.
2. Investigate Everything: Tap/Click every background object, window, sign, animal, and weird spot. The "Hint Coin" sparkle indicates a puzzle nearby.
3. Revisit Areas: New puzzles appear in old locations after story events (check the map for puzzle icons).
4. Complete the Story: The final batch unlocks near the end.
5. Check the Puzzle Index: In the trunk/menu, it lists numbers. Missing numbers = puzzles you haven't found/triggered yet.

Post-Game

After credits, you can freely roam to clean up. The "Puzzle Master's House" (bonus puzzles) unlocks after solving all main puzzles.
