Can You Get a Chow Chow in Nintendogs? No, Breed Not Available

No. The Chow Chow breed is not available in any version of Nintendogs (DS) or Nintendogs + Cats (3DS).

Breed availability varies by region/version (e.g., Labrador & Friends, Chihuahua & Friends, Dachshund & Friends), but the roster consists of roughly 20-30 breeds per version. Popular missing breeds often include Chow Chows, Great Danes, and Rottweilers.

You can sometimes find "Chow Chow" look-alikes via the "Surprise Me" feature or by breeding specific coat patterns in Nintendogs + Cats, but the breed itself is not officially selectable.
