Starting Over in Nintendogs: Create a New Dog, Transfer Data, or Full Reset

You can't "reset" Nintendogs like a traditional game, but you can effectively start fresh:

• Create a New Dog: From the main menu, choose a new breed/name for a clean slate.
• Transfer to Another DS: Move current data to a different DS, leaving the original free for a new game.
• Full DS Reset (Not Recommended): Erases all data permanently—last resort only.

Creating a new dog is the standard way to begin again. Enjoy your new puppy!
