Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Multiplayer Requires Internet (PS3)

Undead Nightmare multiplayer on PS3 is strictly online—no offline or LAN mode exists.

Why No Offline Play

• Server-Dependent: Matchmaking, sessions, and persistence require Rockstar's servers (now shut down for PS3).
• No Local Multiplayer Code: The mode was built exclusively for online play.

Alternatives

• Single-Player Campaign: Full zombie survival narrative with unique missions.
• PC Version: No official Undead Nightmare on PC, but base RDR multiplayer exists via community projects.
• Red Dead Online (RDR2): Current supported multiplayer experience on PS4/5, Xbox, PC.

For PS3, only the single-player Undead Nightmare remains playable offline.
