Rainbow Six Vegas 2: Suppressors, Not Silencers

No "silencer" attachment exists. Suppressors reduce muzzle flash and report — not silence.

How to Equip

1. Main menu / In-game → Customize → Weapons
2. Select weapon (primary/secondary)
3. Attachments tab → Suppressor (if unlocked for that gun)
4. Equip → Save loadout

Trade-Offs

• Pros: Reduced noise radius (AI hears less), no muzzle flash (stealth), slightly tighter hip spread
• Cons: -15–25% damage, -10–20% range, increased recoil on some guns
• Not all weapons support it (shotguns, revolvers, LMGs usually no)

Best Guns for Suppressor

• MP5 / P90 / UMP: SMGs — retain lethality close, stealth clears rooms
• Mk 17 SCAR-H / G36C: ARs — controlled bursts, range acceptable
• USP .45 / P226: Sidearms — silent takedowns

Terrorist Hunt + Suppressor SMG = ghost run practice. Multiplayer: situational — loud guns win gunfights.
