Two distinct Car Wars video games were released in 1983:
Car Wars: The Computer Game – A text-based strategy game by Strategic Simulations, Inc. (SSI), based on the Steve Jackson board game. Released for multiple home computer platforms.
Car Wars: Combat Car Combat – A 3D arcade vehicular combat game developed and published by Atari.
Both titles share the 1983 release year and the board game license.
