Does 60 GB PS3 Have PS2 Memory Card Slot? No — Virtual Cards & Adapter Solution

No. No PS3 model includes a PS2 memory card slot. PS2 backwards compatibility (on launch 20/60 GB models) uses the internal HDD for virtual memory cards. You create "Internal Memory Card (PS2)" slots in the XMB → Game → Memory Card Utility. Physical PS2 memory cards cannot be inserted.

To transfer saves from a real PS2 memory card, you need a PS2 Memory Card Adaptor (CECHZM1) – USB dongle sold separately – to copy saves to the PS3's virtual cards.
